Aqualyx® Fat Reduction Injections

Clare McLoughlin is one of the few health professionals in the UK who are trained in this new treatment!

Aqualysis™ using Aqualyx® is a minimally invasive option for men and women who want to reduce stubborn pockets of localised fat.

How does the treatment work?

Aqualyx® dissolves the fat cells in the treatment area

Who is Aqualyx® for?

People who have a healthy diet and exercise plan but cannot shift small but resistant areas of fat such as: double chin, pre- jowl sulcus, upper arms, armpits, waist, hips, saddlebags, knees and fat deposits on buttocks, chest and inner thighs.

What is Aqualyx®?

Aqualyx® is a compound solution that is injected into stubborn fatty areas such as the chin, stomach, outer and inner thighs, hips, knees.

Aqualyx® liquefies the fat cells, destroying them permanently, releasing the lipids that are then eliminated naturally through the lymphatic system.

How quickly will I see the results from this system?

Results will be seen shortly after treatment, but progressive results will be seen over the few weeks that follow your treatment.

Depending on the area being treated, several treatments may be needed to achieve the desired result.

Aqualyx® is not a weight-loss method. It is used for contouring the body and slimming down those stubborn fat areas. Combined with a healthy diet and exercise, the fat will not return to the treated area.

What about ‘downtime’ and side effects?

There is no ‘downtime’. Typically, two injection spots are required for each area being treated*. A local anaesthetic is given prior to the injection for greater comfort.

Minimal side effects have been reported but you can expect a little skin irritation and some bruising that will ease within a few days.

Is Aqualyx® safe?

Aqualyx® treatment should only be performed by a doctor, nurse or surgeon and before treatment, the patient must undergo a full consultation.

Aqualyx® treatment should not be performed in case of pregnancy and lactation, liposdystrophy, pathological conditions and for those under 18 years or over 60 years.
