Since 1999, Clare McLoughlin RGN INP (Registered General Nurse and Independent Nurse Prescriber) the founder of Appearance Based Medicine, has been a pioneering force in medical aesthetics. Initially serving as an injector for Transform Medical Group in London and Manchester, Clare was also a trainer for Cosmetic Courses, where she educated doctors, dentists, and nurses in the art and science of dermal fillers and Botox for ten years. Clare then chose to channel her extensive expertise into creating a more personalised aesthetic practice in 2004 which is when Appearance Based Medicine was born.
Clare’s extensive experience and dedication to the field of aesthetics have made her a respected figure in the industry, even being featured as a trusted and recommended practitioner in ‘The Tweakments Guide’ written by Alice Hart-Davis. Clare has also been a member of the Save Face UK Expert Advisory Board for over ten years where her important role involves ensuring that the aesthetics practitioners, the products used and the environment where treatments take place are safe, accredited and trusted to ensure all patients receive the best possible care by aesthetic practitioners.
