Clare McLoughlin RGN INP

Clare McLoughlin RGN INP founded Appearance Based Medicine in 2004. She was driven by a desire to provide advanced facial rejuvenation solutions and aesthetic treatments to patients in Marlow, Buckinghamshire and the surrounding areas.

Clare specialises in delivering effective (and natural-looking) anti-ageing solutions to those aged 35 and over. She is always careful to adhere to a person-centred approach throughout all aspects of treatment.

Before making the decision to establish her own state-of-the-art clinic, Clare trained as a general nurse and qualified in this position in 1991. She spent 8 years honing her craft in Intensive Care, but she began to suffer from burnout and started to pursue other interests. This led to her qualification as both an Independent Nurse Prescriber and an Advanced Procedure Aesthetic Nurse.

In 1999, Clare trained in collagen and gained experience in this area by working for Transform Medical Group as their London injector. Her work then took her to Manchester to perform this role for the same employer at a different premises. It was during this time that Clare decided to go it alone. She relocated to Marlow and the rest, as they say, is history.
