At Appearance Based Medicine Ltd., Clare McLoughlin RGN INP will only carry out a jawline contouring treatment following a detailed one-to-one consultation with you. This will allow her to accurately assess whether the treatment is appropriate given your unique medical history, skin condition and expectations.
All of our Dermal Filler injections are administered by Clare McLoughlin RGN INP, who is a skilled and experienced Aesthetic Nurse Prescriber. Injections are administered using a combination of a needle and a cannula, in a procedure that usually takes around 45 minutes to complete. You’ll be able to see the results from a Dermal Filler treatment instantly and you can expect them to last for up to 12 months.
If Clare feels that this (or any) treatment won’t give you the results you want, or is not required at all, she’ll let you know during your pre-treatment consultation. If this treatment is right for you, Clare will give you comprehensive information about the procedure, potential side effects and any pre- and post-treatment advice during your consultation. You’ll also be given the time to decide whether or not, given the information you’ve received, you would like to proceed.
As with any injectable aesthetic treatment, there is a small risk of a patient experiencing side effects post-treatment with Dermal Fillers. Many patients experience minor bleeding at the injection site, often followed by temporary and minor swelling, bruising, redness and tenderness across the treatment site. However, these symptoms are usually not serious and should resolve on their own.
