Aqualyx® Fat Reduction Injections
Aqualysis™ using Aqualyx® is a minimally invasive option for men and women who want to reduce stubborn pockets of local subcutaneous fat. The treatment works by dissolving the fat cells in the treatment area and is ideal for people who have a healthy diet and exercise plan but cannot shift small but resistant areas of fat such as: double chin, pre- jowl sulcus, upper arms, armpits, waist, hips, saddlebags, knees and fat deposits on buttocks, chest and inner thighs. The amount of treatments vary according to the volume of the fat deposit, the desired correction and the individual’s response to the treatment.
This easily tolerated, walk in/walk out treatment is performed every three weeks and on average 3 – 5 are required. Results are usually visible within this time period. The treatment is administered using long cannulas (needles) and can only be performed by a prescribing nurse or doctor. A precise protocol must be followed and Clare is one of the few health professionals in the UK who has been trained in this treatment.
